Inspire brings joy to the soul
Inspire
Inspire is an interactive music and sensory program for people with Dementia. The goal of this program is to inspire engagement, connection, and joy through music-making, playing instruments, singing, sensory stimulation, reality orientation, rhythm games, and more.
Inspire offers passive and active opportunities to join in the fun, appealing to all participants. Participants can play a wide variety of instruments including: shakers, tambourines, glockenspiels, drums, rhythm sticks, bells, triangle, and more.
Soothe
Soothe is a music, movement, and meditation evening program for people with Dementia. Soothe mitigates symptoms of sundowning and transitions residents to bedtime through its progressively relaxing design, aromatherapy, light rhythmic bilateral movement to reinforce positive associations, and concepts from Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), proven to be an effective intervention for people with Dementia.
Soothe addresses two particular unmet needs for people with Dementia in residential facilities:
-purposeful programming to help mitigate symptoms of sundowning
-lack of recreational programs in the evening
Soothe is composed of three distinct parts: music, light yoga movement, and short meditation. As the program progresses, Soothe becomes less stimulating and more relaxing, preparing residents for bedtime.
Soothe is the perfect way to wind down the day
Senior Sing
Senior Sing is a choral program at your facility consisting of weekly rehearsals with themed concerts. This program ran successfully at a local assisted living, with an assisted living choir and memory care choir performing together in five themed concerts such as A Patriotic Concert, Winter Wonderland and A Grateful Heart.
Residents are provided with packets for rehearsals and printed programs at each concert. Concerts are themed by occasion in song selection, attire and decor. Senior Sing is a unique, special offering that is meaningful for residents and marketable for your facility.
